How To Lose Weight Faster!

Do you feel like you’re doing everything right but you still can’t lose weight? On today’s episode I’m summing up my 8 best weight loss tips ever. Lets go…

My Best 8 Weight Loss Tips:

#1. Workout to create a MORE effective calorie deficit.

By burning calories via your workout you can then actually eat more calories so you won’t feel like you’re on a diet. I did a full video on this, showing you calculations on how this works. Click here to watch.

#2. Focus on the quality of the workout, not quantity.

Forget the isolation and spot reduction exercises like bicep curls and crunches, and forget about those 90 minute cardio-athons. Focus on higher quality workouts using Afterburn style exercises like squats, deadlifts, presses, and quick but intense HIIT workouts to really maximize your metabolism. #3. Focus on getting the majority of your calories from protein and fat, not sugary carbohydrates.

In particular, start your day right with the Meat and Nuts Breakfast (popularized by Charles Poliquin)…not the conventional sugary breakfast of cereals and bread. A combo of protein and healthy fat first thing in the morning will provide sustained energy and focus throughout the day, as well as keeping you satiated so you’re not constantly hungry and then binging on bad foods throughout the day. #4. Stop drinking your calories.

Drink lots of water throughout the day not sugary fruit juices or sodas. Also, many times when you think you’re feeling hungry, you actually need more water. Watch my video on 5 ways to drink more water.

#5. Change your mindset.

Focus on making lifestyle changes, not short-term, unsustainable starvation tactics. Rather than thinking about what you need to do to lose weight fast. Think about what lifestyle changes and habits you need to form to Live Lean 365 days a year. Living Lean is a mindset. Your goal is to be persistent and make ongoing consistent daily progress. It’s about continuous progress, not perfection. Aim to be better every day.

#6. Cook your food.

Take control of the foods you eat by cooking your food rather than eating out and buying pre-packaged foods. Accept the fact that food marketers do not have your best health interests in mind. #7. Learn the basics of nutrition by understanding food portions…

…and the macronutrient breakdown of your fitness staple foods like meat, poultry, fish, eggs, fruits, vegetables, and nuts and seeds. General guidelines are to fill your plate with a palm size protein source, a handful of nuts or tbsp of healthy oils, and as many non-starchy vegetables as you want. Vegetables are free foods so eat as much as you want. By doing this, you’ll feel satiated and will have a hard time overeating.

#8. Sleep.

Sleep is the often neglected factor in weight loss. Aim for 7-8 hours per night to allow your body to rejuvenate, grow, and recover. Poor sleep often leads to food binges. Here’s a link to a video I did on ways to improve your sleep.

    for me is through the bladder, so I have to go to frequent breaks, but I

  16. Started no-carb/no sugar, running 5 kilometers every 2nd day and drinking 3
    liters of water each day and a glass of water mixed with an organic lemon.
    went from 91 kilo to 81,5 in less than 3 months. Now, due to a little bit
    of heartache, I’ve squandered it all away, lol. But the silverlining is,

  18. Hi Brad! I’d need some advice on nutrition from you, as I feel you are
    doing / preaching the same.. I have finally decided to count my macros and
    track my food. At the same time though, I am doing intermittent fasting and
    paleo. What I have found is, that I am simply unable to meet my macros. I
    am way way below my protein, carbs and calories. Obviously, I am trying to
    cut as fast as possible right now.. I am not sure exactly how to sort this
    out. How did you deal with this situation ?

    for more than a year now, and already lost 48 lbs… It’s really not that
    easy but one can do it with determination, motivation , consistency and
    most especially the knowledge from what to take in in the form of food. And
    your channel has been a medium for me to know about all that stuff… Now
    I’ve reach my weight goal at 68kg, fluctuating, my new mindset is to get
    lean muscle… do you recommend i start lifting weights, i mean heavy
    weights since I incorporated some lifting with just light weights… Thanks
