Use These Tips To Naturally Get Rid Of Man Boobs

On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, I’m talking about how to naturally get rid of man boobs. I get this question a lot. It’s affecting more and more guys and it’s ruining their self-esteem. Sounds funny, but it’s really a serious issue. Ok, lets jump right into.
 I received this heartfelt message on my Facebook Fan Page from “Michael”. With his permission, he sent me some pictures of his situation.

He writes…

“I’m pretty messed up mentally about my gynecomastia. My father, uncle, and brother seem to have it too. I haven’t seen any videos from you on this topic and I know there a lot of guys watching your channel who have the same issue. I want to fix this in the most natural way and would be honored if you could use this topic for one of your videos.”

Ok, first of all Michael, my heart goes out to you dude. When I was growing up I suffered through low self-esteem issues because of my body as well.

And it sucked. I called it FBSA Syndrome, i.e. Flabby Belly Skinny Arm Syndrome.

Now I don’t claim to be an expert on this topic so…

…what I’m sharing with you is just information that I read about and nothing that I did from personal experience. So take it for what it’s worth.

First of all, this point isn’t directed specifically at Michael, but for some people with man boobs, they have them, because lets be real, they’re just fat.

If this is you, focus on burning fat through proper diet and workouts, and the fat will burn off in all areas of your body.

There’s no such thing as spot reduction for fat loss. So doing more pushups is NOT going to help burn chest fat.

BUT if you’re already lean, and are still holding on to fat in your pecs, it could be gynecomastia, which is a hormonal imbalance issue. It’s either a case of over production of estrogen or a testosterone to estrogen conversion problem in the male body.

Use These 2 Tips To Naturally Get Rid Of Man Boobs

So to correct estrogen dominance focus on:

#1. Avoiding exposure to chemical estrogens:

Estrogen mimicking chemicals called xenoestrogens are everywhere in the environments we live in. These include BPAs found in plastics like water bottles and parabons found in personal cosmetic products like hair products, deodorants, and even air fresheners.

So to avoid these chemical estrogens use stainless steel or BPA free water bottles and BPA free canned foods, glass tupperware containers rather than plastics, natural cosmetic products, and try to eat organic pesticide-free vegetables and hormone-free meat.

#2. Stop the over production of estrogen in your body via diet, workouts and supplementation

Having more fat tissue increases an enzyme called aromatase that turns testosterone into estrogen. So focus on training with heavier weights using compound movements like deadlifts, squats & presses, to decrease body fat and increase testosterone.

Focus on clean, 1 ingredient organic foods that are lower in carbs, higher in protein, and higher in omega-3 fats. Also for fiber, load up on cruciferious vegetables like broccoli, leafy greens, and cauliflower, as they are high in compounds that help decrease aromatase. Also try to avoid soy as much as possible as it can mimic estrogen in the body. You’d be freaked out to see how much soy is found in processed food. And yes, this includes your protein bars you’re buying.

You could also be deficient in nutrients which leads to increases in aromatase. Get a blood test done to see if you’re deficient in magnesium, vitamin D, selenium, or zinc. If deficient, supplement or focus on foods high in those nutrients.

You may be drinking too much beer (or any alcohol). This can increase aromatase and is linked to the conversion of testosterone to estrogen in males.

Bottom line guys…

I hope this tips on how to naturally lose man boobs helped. Remember, the environments we live in and the lifestyle choices we make are affecting our testosterone to estrogen balance. We should be doing everything possible to maintain our testosterone (through heavy lifting) and decrease estrogen accumulation in our bodies using these tips.
