On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, I’m showing you how to make the best breakfast for weight loss, that will not only help you lose fat and build muscle, it’ll also help keep you feeling full and reduce hunger cravings all day long.

I’m often asked, what is the best breakfast for weight loss?

Before I share my opinion, and the exact breakfast that I love to eat, this probably flies in the face of what you hear in the mainstream media.

Here’s a little story.

Approximately 3 years ago, I remember seeing a day time talk show segment where a dude came on and shared his best breakfast for weight loss.

His breakfast consisted of a small serving of egg whites and a small handful of blueberries.

After seeing what he shared, it was 100% clear to me that his strategy on weight loss was 100% focused on calorie restriction.

Our Sustainable Approach To Weight Loss Isn’t Just About Calorie Deprivation

Yes, calorie restriction is necessary for weight loss, but there is no way a tiny serving of food would be enough to keep you feeling full and energized.

Here on Live Lean TV, we prefer to go about weight loss in an entirely different way.

Let’s be real, our testimonials don’t lie.

Inspiring Before And After Body Transformations

We focus on eating one ingredient, satiating foods, that are high in:

Trust me, when you see the delicious ingredients that go into making this breakfast, and the volume and quantity of food you will be eating, you will be shocked that you will lose weight eating this.

However, here’s the thing.

How Much Protein Is Ideal For Breakfast?

Study after study shows a breakfast with at least 30g of protein, that is not high in carbohydrates, is better for:

Even though this is a higher calorie breakfast than you’re probably used to, check this out:

  1. Your blood sugar and insulin will be balanced, meaning your sugar cravings will be kept in check.
  2. You won’t feel as hungry throughout the day, meaning you’ll consume less hunger inducing junk food at night.

This means you will be eating less overall calories by the end of the day.

Winning!

Save Time By Pre-Cooking The Meat The Night Before

Wait a minute.

Before you say, “I don’t have time to make meat like that in the morning”, you can make the ground beef mixture the night before, then store it in tupperware in your fridge, then simply add the pre-cooked meat to your breakfast.

Isn’t That A Lot Of Calories For A Weight Loss Meal?

Yes, it may seem like a lot of calories for one weight loss meal, but it’ll make you eat less junk food and less calories later in the day.

This means your total daily calories will still be in a calorie deficit.

To reduce the calories, remove the macadamia nuts and avocado slices.

What If I’m Not That Hungry In The Morning?

If you’re not used to eating breakfast, or this amount of breakfast, trust me, your body will eventually adapt to craving this amount of food in the morning.

If you are intermittent fasting, eat this as your first meal after you break your fast in the afternoon.

Creating healthy habits is all about consistency people.
