Most Live Lean TV viewers have asked for ideas on how to cook a fast, healthy, and high protein breakfast. The first thing I always recommend is eggs!
Unfortunately when I mention this, the majority of people immediately “think” it will take too long.
On today’s Live Lean TV: Brad’s Cookbook episode, I set the timer, and measure how long it takes to make a healthy, high protein Mexican Style Eggs recipe.
This breakfast contains loads of high quality, muscle building protein, as well as appetite suppressing healthy fats.
I’m talking about approximately 30 grams of protein with no sugar.

Here are the ingredients and instructions to make this healthy and quick mexican style eggs breakfast. I’ve also included the cooking video of me “racing” against the clock. See the video below and follow along with me.
– 1 whole egg
– 1/2 cup of egg whites
– 1 tsp of coconut oil
– 1/3 cup of diced onion
– 1/3 cup of diced tomato
– 1/4 of an avocado
– 1 tsp of chili powder
– 1 tbsp of cilantro
1. Add coconut oil to a frying pan heated over medium heat.
2. Add onions to frying pan and cook for 1-2 mins.
3. Mix up egg whites and whole egg in a dish and mix in chili powder.
4. Add egg mixture to frying pan and scramble/cook for 1-2 mins (until cooked). Add tomato.
5. Add egg mixture to a plate and top with avocado and cilantro.
