On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, we’re sharing a healthy Costco grocery shopping haul to build muscle and burn fat.

Costco Foods We Avoided During This Grocery Trip

As we walked past the bakery section, I asked Jess if she wanted some chocolate cake.

She said she didn’t want it because it looked too dangerous.

The fresh baked pumpkin pie also looked good.

Even though the first ingredient listed was pumpkin, the second ingredient was sugar.

That’s a pass, especially since I have this easy and delicious healthy paleo pumpkin recipe, that we can make ourself.

I was also disappointed to see Costco only had farmed salmon, rather than wild salmon.

That’s another pass.

My Favorite Kind Of Wine

My favorite kind of red wine is pinot noir.

Based on this, my friend, who is a wine connoisseur, recommended I try the Meiomi Pinot Noir.

Therefore, I was excited to see Costco had it in stock for $15.95.

I also picked up a bottle of Greg Norman Estates Pinot Noir, just because it’s Greg Norman.

Here is all the healthy muscle building and fat burning foods we bought during our Costco grocery shopping haul:

  1. Seasoned tri-tip beef
    • Whenever we come to Costco we always get the seasoned tri-tip for our slow cooker meals.
  2. Ground turkey
    • 4 pack in bulk
  3. 48 Organic eggs
    • 2 x 24 pack
  4. Sweet tango apples
    • I’ve never had these before, however I’m assuming it’s a flavor mixture of tango and apple
  5. Coconut water
  6. Cauliflower
  7. Brussels Sprouts
    • Brussels for the muscles
  8. Unsweetened almond milk
  9. Onions
    • We buy a big bag because onions make any food taste better
  10. Organic chicken and apple sausages
  11. Avocados
    • These are one of my favorite foods
  12. Organic ground beef
  13. Pickles
    • I find pickles adds good flavor to salads or any other bland meal
  14. Big bag flaxseed meal
  15. Huge container of Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb Salt-Free seasoning blend
  16. Broccoli
  17. Pumpkin seeds
  18. Spinach
  19. Peanut butter
  20. Almond butter
  21. Chia seeds
  22. Hemp seeds
  23. Canned tuna
  24. Organic frozen blueberries
  25. Organic frozen cherries
  26. Fresh blueberries
  27. Organic virgin coconut oil
  28. Organic extra virgin olive oil
  29. Organic chicken
  30. Bananas
