On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, I’m showing you how to properly burn more fat faster and keep it off forever.
It’s time to get back to the fat loss basics, Live Lean Nation.
I continuously see so many people approaching fat loss the wrong way.
Before we get into it, I just want to first off thank every single one of you.
I’m overwhelmed with how many people now have access to the Live Lean style of workouts and eating.
When it comes to fat loss, the laws of thermodynamics states that in order to loss weight, you must burn more calories than you eat.
Everyone knows that.
So based off of this well known law, there are 3 different types of people who try to lose fat.
These are the people who just focus on eating less calories to lose fat.
They don’t increase their calorie burn by exercising and to them it doesn’t matter the quality of the calorie or the macronutrient breakdown of the calorie.
Then there is type #2.
They are the people who just focus on working out more to burn more calories.
These are the people who just focus on mainly walking on the treadmill while they watch the calorie burn monitor go up, until the end of their workout.
Lastly, they are also not focused on eating higher quality food or looking at their daily calorie consumption count.
Then there is type #3.
Let’s call these people the Live Leaners.
They are the people who focus not only on eating higher quality food that:
In other words, the fat burning switch is always turned on.
This workout style burns more calories during their workout, and after their workout, for up to 48 hours.
In other words, they’re following workouts that maximize the Afterburn Effect.
If we placed all 3 people side by side, here’s what it would look like after 6 weeks.
The Diet Chasers may lose “weight”, but it’s probably a combination of muscle and fat along with a big side of a weakened and slowed metabolism.
In most cases, this probably creates a lighter, but still a flabby version of their old self.
The Workout Machines may lose “weight”, or in some situations gain weight, but just like the Diet Chasers, it’s probably a combination of muscle and fat loss, and a big side of the stress and belly fat storing hormone cortisol.
Long endurance cardio sessions will ultimately burn in to your muscle, slow your metabolism, and create a lot of stress in the body.
Once again, these people are potentially creating a lighter, but still flabby version of their old self.
The Live Leaners would be the clear fat burning winners.
The ultimate winning formula for fat loss comes down to two critical steps to create the needed calorie deficit.
When you work out properly, you’ll be burning more calories during and after your workout.
This allows you to eat more calories throughout the day, and still be in a calorie deficit.
So you’ll be burning fat while maintaining, and in some cases, building calorie crushing muscle, without starving yourself.
