As I mention in the video, I’ve never had a cup of hot coffee before in my life. I don’t know why…I just never fell into the coffee trend.
It wasn’t until a few months ago, I experimented adding coffee into a protein shake for it’s antioxidant and energy boosting properties. HOME RUN!
On today’s episode of LIVE LEAN TV, I’m going to share my video of me making this iced protein coffee recipe.
I’ve never had an issue with people drinking coffee. My issue comes from what people ADD to their coffee…the creamers, the sugars, etc.
Coffee can be a great source of antioxidants. I also don’t have a problem with caffeine, as long as it’s taken in moderation.
– 1/2 cup coconut milk
– serving of hot coffee (i used a tsp of instant coffee mixed in 1/2 cup of water)
– packet of stevia
– tsp of cocoa
– 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
– ice cubes
1. Add to a blender. Blend. Enjoy!
