My First Muscle Up Reaction After Finally Completing One

Check Out My First Ever Muscle Up Attempt

On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, I’m sharing my first ever muscle up attempt, as well as my first muscle up reaction after finally completing one.

Regardless of what it is, having a goal requires persistence.

[per·sist·ence]: firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.

You also have to have the determination to fight through the frustration of failure.

[de·ter·mi·na·tion]: firmness of purpose; resoluteness.

Watch how many times I failed during my first day of trying muscle ups.

But when you are determined and persistently taking action towards completing your first muscle up, failure is not an option.

Of course you’ll fail a lot during your muscle up journey, and your hands will be blistered and in pain.

But just when you’re about to give up on getting your first muscle up, you’ll feel a spark of hope.

Then, with a little bit of encouragement, on your 20th or 200th attempt, you’ll complete your first ever muscle up.

Plus, once you get that first muscle up, they just get easier.

The same thing was true for my front lever transformation goal.

New York City Muscle Ups!

Make sure you stay tuned to the very end of the video to not only see my first muscle up reaction, but also to see some craziness on the streets of NYC.

If you’re like me, you’ll then have the confidence to start rocking muscle ups on Park Avenue in New York City, even after a steak dinner 😂.

Just be careful of the taxis driving by!
