On today’s vlog episode of Live Lean TV, we’re showing you a day in the life of Living Lean, including how to make a healthy chicken wings recipe in the oven.

In Live Lean Life Vlog Ep. 049 I share:

6 Back And Chest Exercises

To start the vlog, Jessica, Kyla, and I went down to our condo gym to film the following 6 back and chest exercises for our Live Lean TV Daily Exercises YouTube channel:

  1. Neutral Grip Dumbbell Bent Over Row
  2. Chest Dips
  3. High To Low Cable Fly
  4. Middle Cable Fly
  5. Low To High Cable Fly
  6. Standing Straight Bar Cable Pullover

In between sets, Kyla loves working out her legs, and says you should too.

Giving My Dog Bruno A Bath In The Shower

Since Jessica says our dog Bruno smells like an old man, it’s time for him to jump in the tub.

When I called for him, he ran out of the bedroom to hide on the couch 😂.

Unfortunately, he doesn’t like taking baths.

Eventually I found him, then convinced him a little bit of warm water and conditioning shampoo will make him feel good and smell clean.

Bruno

His response: “Is there anything more unnatural than giving a dog a bath?”

I don’t disagree.

After cleaning him up, I knew he was going to sprint out of the tub like mad man, so I definitely needed to dry him off first.

As soon as Jessica came home from walking Kyla, she said he smelled so fresh and so clean, and no longer smelled like a stinky old man.

I also had to compliment Jessica on how cute she looked in her #ootd.

Jessica’s New Birthday Sneakers

Even though it’s a month late, Jessica’s birthday present finally arrived.

I bought her custom designed Nike sneakers with a sparkled swoosh.

Based on her reaction to how pretty they were, I think it was worth the wait.

Look at the sparkles on these bad boys.

Jessica sneakers

Is there anything more exciting for a fitness geek than new sneakers?

Here was Jessica’s response when she first saw them: “Holy mother of beautiful sneakers. They look incredible.”

They were super light too.

Bruno was excited for some chicken.

Essentially everything’s here and ready to go.

Kyla says all the fresh ingredients looks so good.

How many other husbands cook food like this?

This is tonight’s meal.

We both eat the same food, however Jessica’s plate just has less gains on it.

Can you believe Jessica and I eat this food?

This just proves you can still Live Lean while eating chicken wings and a side salad.

What Does Kyla Eat?

Everybody always asks what are we going to feed Kyla?

The goal is to feed her pretty much what we eat.

So far, so good.

After Kyla ate a couple oranges, we shared some of our chicken wings with her because chicken makes you big, strong, and healthy.

She said it was so good and wanted more protein.

kyla

Then she basically ate two whole pieces of chicken.

Bruno wanted some too.

They were all fighting over the chicken wings.

Talk about stealing mommy’s gains.

Looks like Jess will just have the salad 😂.

This girl’s a freaking carnivore.

As you can see, she likes her protein and meat best.

kyla

You could say this chicken wings recipe is Kyla approved.

She’s definitely here daddy’s daughter.

Now, we just have to teach her manners.

Family Hot Tub Night

Yes, it’s family hot tub night.

Kyla has her Speedo baby wetsuit on and is ready to go in the hot tub.

Having access to a hot tub year round is just one of the many magical things about living in San Diego.

All we need is 15 minutes in the hot tub, then we’re ready to go.

Fifteen minutes, we’re good to go.

kyla

It’s such a great thing that Kyla loves the water.

That’s another vlog for you.

Thank you so much for joining me and my family on another day of Living Lean.

We love you.

Keep Living Lean.

Bye.
