How To Do The Standing Kettlebell Halo Correctly

The Standing Kettlebell Halo is an excellent exercise that strengthens and improves shoulder stability, and also hits your core.

To get started:

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart.
  2. Grab the kettlebell by it’s side, also called the horns, with both hands, while holding it at chest level.
  3. Focus on keeping your shoulders down, chest up, and core and glutes contracted throughout the movement.
  4. Keeping your elbows bent, under control, safely rotate the kettlebell behind your head, then in front of your body to complete a circle.
  5. Continue rotating the kettlebell for reps, then switch directions and repeat.
