Live Lean Nation, on today’s exercise demonstration, I’m showing you how to do plyometric pushup.
The plyometric pushup is an explosive version of the traditional pushup to maximize the gains in your chest and triceps.
Watch the Plyometric Pushup: exercise demonstration video above.
To perform Plyometric Pushup:
1. Get into the traditional pushup position with your hands planted into the floor below your shoulders.
2. Keep your body in a straight line as you bend your elbows and lower yourself to the floor.
3. Once your chest is just a few inches off the floor, explosively push the floor away from you so your hands come off the floor.
4. Land softly by immediately proceeding back into another rep.
5. Repeat.
