Live Lean Nation, on today’s exercise demonstration, I’m showing you how to do standing neutral grip dumbbell shoulder press.
The Standing Neutral Grip Dumbbell Shoulder Press is a great exercise to build overall strength in the shoulders. By using a palms facing in, neutral grip, it can be easier on the shoulder joint.
Watch the STANDING NEUTRAL GRIP DUMBBELL SHOULDER PRESS: exercise demonstration video above.
To perform STANDING NEUTRAL GRIP DUMBBELL SHOULDER PRESS:
1. While standing with your knees slightly bent, hold a pair of dumbbells with a palms facing in, neutral grip, just above your shoulders.
2. Contract your core, and squeeze your glutes to maintain a strong flat back while you fully extend both of your arms to press the dumbbells overhead.
3. Under control, slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position.
4. Repeat.
