Live Lean Nation, on today’s exercise demonstration, I’m showing you how to do a body saw forearm plank with sliders.
The Body Saw with sliders is a great core strengthening exercise to fire up your abs.
Watch the Body Saw: exercise demonstration video above.
To perform Body Saw:
1. Place a towel or sliders on the floor and get into a plank position with your toes on the slider.
2. Plant your forearms into the floor with your elbows directly underneath your shoulders.
3. Contract your abs throughout the movement to ensure your hips don’t sag. If your hips do sag during the movement, you’re taking the range of motion to far.
4. Squeeze your glutes, hamstrings, and quads while maintaining a straight line from your head to your feet, push yourself back with your forearms and elbows to slide back.
5. Return to the starting position. That’s one rep.
6. Repeat.
