On today’s vlog episode of Live Lean TV, I’m sharing a few stadium workout ideas, my homemade chipotle lifestyle bowl, and dating advice.
This is Live Lean Life Vlog Ep. 09.
Trust me, I’m just like you.
Since I’m a busy entrepreneur and dad, I don’t have time for two hour workouts in the gym.
However, this doesn’t doesn’t mean you can let your body go.
It simply means you have to be smarter with your time.
If you don’t have access to a gym, use the outdoors as your gym.
If it’s cold outside, use your living room to workout.
Just get it done.
Today’s stadium workout was comprised of:
Get in and get out in 30 minutes.
You only have one body, so make your body change, and treat it right.
That’s what I always do.
I’m back in the office.
It’s time to get focused, as I have a lot of writing assignments to finish.
My first assignment that I’m working on is for Men’s Health.
They want me to write a lifestyle piece about the second date debate.
I want to hear what your side of the story is.
Here’s my question to you:
Let me know in the comments below, is a second date relevant if the sparks didn’t fly the first time?
Tell me your experiences where you went on a first date with a girl or guy, but you weren’t attracted to them.
If you were cool with each other and had a fun time, but the sparks didn’t fly, does that deserve a second date?
Let me know in the comments below.
I also posted the following question on my Snapchat to get more opinions:
“If the fireworks don’t explode on your first date, should you go to the second date.”
cmlarson9: “Yes to a second date. It’s so stressful on the first. It could be the nerves.”
mxgregg: “If the sparks don’t fly on the first date, I say give it another try. Unless it’s a blind date, there must have been some reason why you decided to go out. Sometimes you need to learn a little bit more about a person before you really fall in love.”
tinytara06: “Yes, because the first date is the ice breaker. You both could be too nervous the first time, so you don’t get their true personality.”
GiGi Dubois: “No! No point in wasting anyone’s time!”
I also asked Jessica for her thoughts.
Jessica: “I think you’re wasting each other’s time if there’s not a mutual spark. Don’t go on a second date, unless you already love them from the first date.”
She also said:
“I loved you at the first date.”
“You were pretty smooth with me boo”.
In the post for Men’s Health, I’m going to share 4 stories from my past experiences from when sparks did and did not fly, and how I was an idiot in the process.
By the way, I’m sorry to one person who had to deal with my experience.
PS. Jessica was one of the positive experiences 😜.
While I was writing, Jessica made us dinner.
She made nachos for herself, and a homemade Chipotle lifestyle bowl for me.
Unfortunately the nachos included 3 things I don’t typically eat, unless it’s a cheat meal:
Jessica also included red bell peppers, arugula, and avocado on her nachos.
Fortunately, this made it easy for me to simply make a homemade Chipotle lifestyle bowl by adding those ingredients to a bowl, along with some slow cooker beef, that I added to the slower cooker in the morning.
Even though Jessica was pregnant at the time, eating nachos was not a normal behavior for her during pregnancy.
She told me they story that while she was out walking Bruno today, she had a pregnancy craving moment for tacos.
However, she couldn’t find taco shells, so she settled for nachos.
She went on to day, that’s just how life is when you’re pregnant.
You’re just going on with your day, then suddenly you’re like, I need tacos!
With that said, I was really impressed with how Jessica was so good throughout her whole pregnancy journey.
She was really inspirational.
If you are looking to get pregnant, I definitely think Jessica should be a role model.
