Brad and I have discussed this question, and we both completely agree that gender should not be the only determinant of how you’re going to train, or what training program to use.

Rather than training based on your gender, we believe both men and women need to train specifically for their goals.

It all comes down to your goals baby.

You need to first decide if you’re looking to:

  • lose fat
  • build muscle
  • or do both

Even though this question was really about how women should train, I have to mention calorie intake as well.

It’s very easy to mistake fat gain for bulk, but it’s not the same thing.

It’s important to understand that lean muscle is more dense and takes us less space, when compared too fat.

So make sure you are eating correctly for your goals.

  1. Man, I’m so glad that most people voted to keep these videos together on
    one channel! That would have sucked to separate you two!!

  2. I vote A too. Keep it together! Which is the best program to buy…I am
    just starting out…want to lose lots of weight and start weight training.

  3. Hi, I think they should be kept on the same channel, be a real team. There
    are more positives than negatives for keeping on the same chan, I think one
    of the worries people will have is the ‘manly’ content being sacrificed for
    the girly stuff, this does not need to happen at all, I believe simply more
    videos will appear on the chan, so rather than 2 new vids from brad on this
    chan, and 2 new on the other chan, simply 4 videos will appear on this chan
    (titled appropriately) – just an example.
    A real team both contribute and quite often information is useful for both
    genders so it’s always useful for a guy checking out this chan who may see
    an interesting video (title) he may have missed, targeted at women, who he
    could then inform a lady he knows that may be interested, or even
    interested to learn himself! (maybe he’s a personal trainer!?) I dunno
    there are like 10+ positives and 1-2 negatives – same chan!

    weights stunt teens growth? Is the paleo diet safe for kids?

  6. I would vote for A. Although a second channel would of course get some good promotion, keeping all the content on the same channel but posting videos on different days would make it much easier to find everything in the same place.

    Reason 2 – I think it would be great way to self promote and keep a steady
    flow of videos coming. Plus it will dissipate any “man channel vs women
    BS”.

  10. I vote A. It’s smarter to have everything from your brand on one channel.
    But, I’m really excited because I really respect Jessica! I’m so glad that
    you brought her on regularly. I would love to know her take on how much to
    workout. Also, I do not count calories anymore because it was making me
    crazy. Maybe she has ways to keep what I’m eating in check without counting
    every single thing I eat.

    they’re pretty much just commercials….. Done.

  12. I think the reason women don’t train the same as guys is bcoz they think
    they’re goin to get big not realising muscle takes time to grow! I think
    all women n I’ll add men to this aswell should squat and deadlift no matter
    what they’re goals r! All round solid exercises with unbelievable benefits!
