Incline Cable Tricep Extension With Rope

How To Do An Incline Cable Tricep Extension With Rope Exercise Demonstration Video and Guide

The Incline Cable Tricep Extension With Rope is a great isolation exercise that targets heads of the triceps.

To get started:

  1. Place an incline bench a few feet in front of a cable machine.
  2. Connect a rope attachment to the low pulley cable, then lie face up on the incline bench while holding the rope straight above your shoulders.
  3. The only movement for this exercise comes from the bending at the elbow joint, meaning your upper arms do not move.
  4. Slowly bend your elbows to about 90 degrees, then extend your arms overhead, while squeezing your triceps and pulling both ends of the ropes away from each other.
  5. Repeat.
