Live Lean Nation, on today’s exercise demonstration, I’m showing you how to do an inchworm.
The Inchworm is a fantastic core exercise that also hits your shoulders, chest, and triceps. It can also be used for your warm up as it helps loosen up your body, especially your hips.
Watch the INCHWORM: exercise demonstration video above.
To perform INCHWORM:
1. With a hip width stance, bend over keeping your legs as straight as possible, while placing both of your hands on the floor. Bend your knees more if you need too.
2. Next, keeping your legs as straight as you can and your abs contracted, walk your hands forward until your body forms a straight line.
3. Then take small steps with your feet to walk them towards your hands, focusing on keeping your core contracted.
4. That’s one rep.
5. Repeat.
