Neutral Grip Standing Dumbbell Front Raise

How To Do A Neutral Grip Standing Dumbbell Front Raise Exercise Demonstration Video and Guide

The Neutral Grip Standing Dumbbell Front Raise is a great exercise that targets the front of the shoulders.

By using a palms facing in, neutral grip, it can be easier on the shoulder joint.

To get started:

  1. With a shoulder width stance, hold a pair of dumbbells by your sides, with a palms facing in, neutral grip.
  2. Keep your arms straight, palms facing each other, while raising the dumbbells in front of you until they are parallel to the ground.
  3. During the movement, stand tall, and keep your core and glutes contracted so the muscles in the shoulders initiate the move rather than leaning back to create momentum.
  4. Under control, reverse the movement and repeat.
