Live Lean Nation, on today’s exercise demonstration, I’m showing you how to do kneeling leg crossover.
The Kneeling Leg Crossover is an exercise that helps activate the glutes and open up your hips.
Watch the KNEELING LEG CROSSOVER: exercise demonstration video above.
To perform KNEELING LEG CROSSOVER:
1. On the floor get down on your knees, hip width apart, and on your hands positioned shoulder width apart.
2. Keep your back flat and neck neutral as you look down at the floor.
3. Extend one leg back so it forms a straight line from your heels to your head with your toes pointing down towards the floor.
4. Cross the extended leg over to the other side of your body, keeping your leg straight, and your spine straight, then tap your toes to touch the floor to feel a good stretch in your hips.
5. Then return the straight leg back to the starting position while keeping it off the floor, then extend it out to the other side of your body and touch your toes to the ground, focusing keeping your spine as neutral and straight as possible.
6. Return to the starting position.
7. Complete all the reps with one leg, then switch legs and repeat.
