On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, we’re answering a viewer question who asked, what is our favorite cheat meal treat at Dairy Queen.
Today’s viewer question is from #AskLiveLeanTV Ep. 021.
Here’s today’s viewer question:
@CiscoBalls on Twitter asks:
Ever been to Dairy Queen? Any recommendations?
I don’t know, maybe it’s a joke.
If you’ve been a long time Live Leaner, you would know that Blizzards used to be somewhat comparable to pizza for my cheat meals.
Brad: Now, ice cream Blizzards is not even on the list.
The combination of dairy and sugar, it’s just a bad, bad mix with me.
Especially with the way it makes me feel.
I get bloated and really feel uncomfortable.
Jess: Yeah, it’s a sugar bomb.
I always used to go with Skor DQ Blizzards.
Those were my favorites.
What were yours?
Jess: I always remember the Dilly Bar.
When we used to go on family road trips, my dad would pull over at Dairy Queen and order Dilly Bars for everyone.
That was fun.
It was a chocolate covered vanilla ice cream bar.
Brad: Yeah, that’s what my parents used to buy me too because I think it was the cheapest thing on the menu.
Jess: Yeah, probably 😂.
It was like 50 cents or something.
Brad: The Dilly Bar or the dipped cone because they’re like 99 cents or something, and the DQ blizzards were $3, so it was three times the price.
Jess: Economically friendly.
