Multivitamin: GNC Mega Men Sport Review

GNC Multivitamin: Mega Men Sport Review

On today’s episode, I’m sharing my GNC multivitamin: Mega Men Sport review.

In a previous episode, I mentioned that GNC sent me their Mega Men Sport multivitamin to review.

Since then, I’ve been supplementing with this multivitamin for the past 9 days and I’ve been feeling really good.

After doing my research on the ingredients, and comparing it with other multivitamins, the verdict is in.

The Mega Men Sport isn’t just any typical multivitamin

When comparing the ingredients, the Mega Men Sport blows away the generic “one a day” multivitamins that you find at the grocery store.

The Mega Men Sport contains higher levels of vitamins and minerals, because it is specifically formulated for athletes, and people that push their body to the next level at the gym.

This is why, in addition to the vitamins and minerals, the multivitamin also contains amino acids and other energy boosting ingredients.

In fact, in each package, there are 7 different pills to take for one serving.

So drink a lot of water with them so they don’t get caught in your throat.

Also don’t forget about this important tip.

How to properly absorb the nutrients from a multivitamin:

You should always consume your multivitamins with food.

The reason is simple.

Multivitamin are comprised of water soluble and fat soluble vitamins.

In order to properly absorb the fat soluble vitamins in the Mega Men Sport multivitamin, it’s important to consume it with a healthy fat source.

Water soluble vitamins:

  • B vitamins
  • Vitamin C

Fat soluble vitamins:

  • Vitamin A
  • Vitamin D
  • Vitamin E
  • Vitamin K

When you don’t consume a fat source with your multivitamin, rather than absorbing most of it, you’re more likely to just pee it away.

That’s a big waste of your hard earned money.

Consume your Mega Men Sport multivitamin with a fat source such as:

That’s it.

Follow Up:

Since posting this video, in addition to taking a greens powder, I’ve also switched to a new multivitamin from Myprotein called: Alpha Men.

In fact, I’m often asked:

“If you had to choose between a multivitamin and a greens powder what would you choose?”

My answer is a greens powder.

Although I currently take both, if you only could take one, I’d recommend you take a high quality greens powder like this one from AG1.

I prefer this greens powder over a multivitamin as it contains more key ingredients that we tend to be depleted in.
