How To Do Standing Barbell Reverse Curls With Hold Correctly

Standing Barbell Reverse Curls With Hold are a great way to build strength in the forearms.

To get started:

  1. While standing, hold a barbell in front of your thighs with an overhand, palms facing in grip.
  2. Keep your elbows locked to your side throughout the movement and curl the barbell up until your forearms are parallel to the ground, then hold this position for 3 seconds.
  3. Finish the curl by lifting the bar to your chest.
  4. Under control, lower the barbell, then stop once again at parallel, holding for another 3 seconds.
  5. Lower the bar to the starting position and repeat.
