Live Lean Nation, on today’s exercise demonstration, I’m showing you how to do standing reverse barbell curls with hold.
Standing Reverse Barbell Curls are a great way to build strength in the forearms.
Watch the STANDING REVERSE BARBELL CURLS WITH HOLD: exercise demonstration video above.
To perform STANDING REVERSE BARBELL CURLS WITH HOLD:
1. While standing, hold a barbell in front of your thighs with an overhand, palms facing in grip.
2. Keep your elbows locked to your side throughout the movement and curl the barbell up until your forearms are parallel to the ground, hold this position for 3 seconds, then finish the curl by lifting the bar to your chest.
3. Under control, lower the barbell, then stop once again at parallel, holding for another 3 seconds, then lower the bar to the starting position and repeat.
