Live Lean Nation, on today’s exercise demonstration, I’m showing you how to do standing dumbbell scaption.
Standing Dumbbell Scaption is a great corrective exercise to help strengthen stabilizer muscles of the shoulder blade.
Watch the Standing Dumbbell Scaption: exercise demonstration video above.
To perform Standing Dumbbell Scaption:
1. While standing, hold a pair of light dumbbells with a neutral, palms facing in, grip in front of your thighs.
2. Keep your arms extended while you slowly raise the dumbbells to point to 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock at the top range of the movement, to about eye level.
3. Under control, reverse the movement to slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position.
4. Repeat.
