Live Lean Nation, on today’s exercise demonstration, I’m showing you how to do squat depth jump.
The Squat Depth Jump is an awesome plyometric exercise to improve leg power and explosiveness.
Watch the SQUAT DEPTH JUMP: exercise demonstration video above.
To perform SQUAT DEPTH JUMP:
1. Stand on top of a box or step that is 2 feet off the ground.
2. Place your feet close to the edge of the box, then get into a quarter squat position by slightly bending at the hips and knees.
3. Hop off the edge of the box, cushion the knees and land softly by dipping into a quarter squat position, then immediately explode up by jumping into the air and reaching your arms as high as you can.
4. Step back up on the box and repeat.
