Live Lean Nation, on today’s exercise demonstration, I’m showing you how to do trx push up.
The TRX Push Up is a challenging variation of the traditional push up that not only allow you to go through a greater range of motion, but you also incorporate more chest, tricep, and core activation as your arms are suspended in the air, creating more instability during the movement.
Watch the TRX PUSH UP: exercise demonstration video above.
To perform TRX PUSH UP:
1. With the TRX suspension training straps attached to a high anchor point, adjust the TRX straps so the handles are just a few inches off the ground.
2. Get into a traditional push up position with your feet on the floor and your hands holding onto the TRX handles with your arms extended.
3. Keeping your core contracted and your body in a straight line from your heels to your head, slowly bend your elbows so your upper body lowers towards the floor.
4. Under control, press your body back up to the starting position, and repeat.
