Muffin Top Workout [Full Workout, Follow Along, No Equipment]

Lose the Muffin Top with this 8 minute, no equipment, home workout.

As I’m sure you’ve heard me say before, spot fat reduction is not possible. However, client’s who follow targeted toning workouts are still going to get better results than those who take no action and don’t do anything to improve their trouble zones.

I do recommend you follow a comprehensive full-body training program like our ones in TeamLiveLean.com, complete with nutrition attention to get lean and toned all over, but this workout can be a great start to help encourage you to get active and begin shaping your body.

You won’t need any equipment for this workout but I do recommend using a mat and 1 dumbbell is optional. (I use a 10lb dumbbell for the sit up and twist)

I’m going to lead you through this workout rep by rep and we’ll be working on the clock. 20 seconds per exercise with short 10 second rest periods.

Follow my lead.

Here’s your 8 minute Muffin Top Workout:

Do each exercise for 2o seconds with 10 second rests between exercises.

Take longer rest periods if needed by simply pausing the video during rest periods.

If you would like a longer or more intense workout you may repeat the video 2 or 3 times and/or add weights to the exercises.

  1. Mountain Climber
  2. Full Burpee
  3. Side Plank Crunch (left)
  4. Side Plank Crunch (right)
  5. Bicycle Abs
  6. Sit Up & Twist (left)
  7. Sit Up & Twist (right)

Rest only 10 seconds then immediately REPEAT all 7 exercises for Round 2

 

Once the workout is complete stretch out your obliques with the triangle standing side bend stretches. Alternate sides for at least 3x per side.
