On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, we’re answering a question from a viewer who asked, what are the overall best workout sneakers?
This was a question from #AskLiveLeanTV Ep. 012.
Before Jessica and I share our favorite workout sneakers, I just wanted to provide a little bit of context around what you’re about to read.
In this post, I’m sharing my favorite overall training shoes, if I had to only pick one.
However, based on the fitness activity, there are different types of training shoes that you should be wearing.
With all that said, I classify the workout sneakers that I’m about to recommend, as the best overall fitness shoes.
Also, when it comes to Jessica’s favorite workout sneakers, she did a more in-depth video post sharing all of her favorite workout shoes right here.
With all that said, let’s just get into today’s viewer question.
@mcptotalfitness on Twitter asks: if you could only keep one pair of gym shoes, which would it be? I love my Reebok Nano 5.0’s, but I’d miss my Reebook Sprint TRs. What are the best overall workout sneakers?
That’s a great question.
It sounds like we are shoe twins, because we have the same kicks.
But if I could keep one pair of workout sneakers, I have to say that my favorite all time training shoe is the Reebok Nano 4.0.
Although I own two pairs of Reebok Nano 4.0’s, my favorite workout sneakers are my custom designed ones with “Live Lean” written up the back.
Even though these sneakers weren’t custom fitted to my foot, they just feel so much better than my other Reebok Nano 4.0’s and 5.0’s.
Therefore, if I had to pick just one workout sneaker, it would be the Reebok Nano 4.0’s.
Now it’s time to find out what Jessica’s favorite workout sneakers are.
The sneakers that Jessica loves now is New Balance.
Although she used to like Nike sneakers, she now considers herself a New Balance girl.
Even though Jessica has a couple of different New Balance styles, she wants 20 more pairs.
However, if she could only keep one, she couldn’t pick.
I remember I used to make fun of Jessica because a lot of New Balance sneakers are kind of like mom shoes.
But according to Jessica, they are getting cuter and feel really good.
I do agree, as I have a pair of cool New Balance 574 casual lifestyle shoes.
But I do not own any New Balance workout sneakers.
When I used to work at a sneaker store, I always would push New Balance on people because they were so comfortable and a high quality brand.
However, from a style and design standpoint, I haven’t seen a New Balance workout sneaker that I personally like.
I have a closet full of sneakers.
Some may call it a sneaker fetish, but sneakers are one of the things I love.
Although Jessica is not into sneakers as much as I am, she feels the same way about sunglasses and makeup.
If you’re really into sneakers, I have a new Instagram account that I just started up called Rock These Kicks.
In addition to training and workout sneakers, I mainly share a lot of my favorite lifestyle sneakers.
These mainly include Yeezys, Jordans, and other dope sneaker brands.
I also buy, sell, and trade sneakers there too.
So if you want to see the sneakers that I’m rocking from a lifestyle perspective, go follow my @RockTheseKicks Instagram account.
