Standing Barbell Front Raise

How To Do A Standing Barbell Front Raise Exercise Demonstration Video and Guide

The Standing Barbell Front Raise is a great exercise that targets the front of the shoulders.

To get started:

  1. Stand with a hip width stance while holding a barbell with a shoulder width, palms facing in grip.
  2. With your arms fully extended, hanging down in front of your thighs, lift the bar up and out with straight arms until they are parallel to the ground.
  3. Reverse the movement by slowly lowering the barbell back down towards your thighs, without allowing it to rest there for long.
  4. Repeat.
