Live Lean Nation, on today’s exercise demonstration, I’m showing you how to do plyometric pullup.
The Plyometric Pull Up is a great way to add explosiveness to the traditional pull up that targets the muscles in the back.
Watch the Plyometric Pull Up : exercise demonstration video above.
To perform Plyometric Pull Up:
1. Grasp the handles of pull up bar with a palms facing away grip, just outside shoulder width, and hang at arm’s length.
2. Contract your core and lats and explosively pull your chest to the bar, then let go of the bar to hoist your body up higher.
3. Catch the bar on the way back down and lower your body back to the starting position with fully extended arms.
4. Repeat.
