What are Macros? And why should you care?

Are you confused about Macros?
It’s come to my recent attention that A LOT of our followers – people who are already interested in health, fitness, and uncovering the BEST body possible – are utterly confused about macros!
Do you know what macros are?
Do you know what calories are?
Do you know how many calories and what macro split you hit each day? or what your goals should even be?
Do you understand how your daily calories and macros affect your results?
First, Calories are a measure of energy – all foods contain energy, but different food types contain different amounts.
Macros refer to the three macronutrients, Proteins Carbs and Fats.
Proteins contain 4 calories per gram, Carbs contain 4 calories per gram, and Fats 9 calories per gram.
It’s important to plan your meals based on your macro and calorie goals so that you can know if you’re eating too much, just right, or not enough nutrients to fulfill your bodies needs.
Am I saying that everybody needs to know their macros every single day and hit their goals 100%.. No! I don’t expect that from anyone, not even myself. What I am suggesting is that if you’re frustrated or dissatisfied with your results, macros may be a tool for you to transform your body.
